Move along. Nothing to see here. At least this week. From the court’s website:
May 20 2009 — No opinions were announced for filing on Thursday, May 21, 2009.
There is no pending notice of forthcoming opinion filings. When opinions are expected to file, notices are generally posted the day before. Opinions are normally filed Mondays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.
The California Supreme is Court is taking its sweet precious time in delivering a ruling on Proposition 8. Time is running out for the court as they have to reach a decision before June 5. But considering a ruling tomorrow would have fallen on the 30th anniversary of the White Night riots, and on the eve of Harvey Milk’s birthday , perhaps it’s wise for the court to wait at least another week.
When the ruling is finally announced, celebrations or protests are scheduled to occur throughout the state and across the nation. To find out about events that may be occurring in your area visit the DayOfDecision.com

Tell me why this man isn’t Secretary of the Army now!? Strong words for the president and for those who support DADT.
Clifford Alexander served as Secretary of the Army under the Carter Administration. We could certainly use someone of his character today…

Washington DC news anchor Doug McKelway threatened blogger Mike Rogers yesterday during an interview over the outing tactics used in the new documentary Outrage, which exposes the hypocrisy of closeted politicians.
Watch the heated exchange below:
I love it how these types always trot out that they have a friend or family member, or are a fan of someone who is gay. GMAFB!
Outrage opens May 8.

Perhaps one of the largest missteps in the No on Prop 8 campaign was not letting the LGBT community nor its allies engage in a “get to know us” dialogue through advertising and in the media. The new video below is a wonderful example of that dialogue in action, where our friends and families come together to send a message of tolerance and equality.
The video promotes an upcoming LGBT event called Pink Dot. You’ve probably not heard of the event because its all the way across the Pacific… in Singapore. While the event is thousands of miles away, it doesn’t make it any less moving, or any less relevant. Please watch….
