Joy Behar subbing for Larry King tonight hosted a brief but energetic panel on Carrie Prejean and the new television ad “No Offense” put out by the National Organization for Marriage (NOM).
The panel includes Maggie Gallagher, President of the National Organization for Marriage, Shana Moakler, Director, Miss California USA Pageant, actor Stephen Baldwin and Rev. Nicole Lamarche, former Miss California.

Bravo to Shanna Moakler for taking Gallagher to task. And what’s up with Stephen Baldwin and his claims of persecution. Is being flushed a symptom of persecution? Or is it a symptom for something else? I feel so… so sorry for his brother Alec.

Judy Shepard responds to the passing of hate crimes legislation in the House and to the remarks made by Congresswoman Virginia Foxx, who said the murder of Matthew Shepard because he was gay, a hoax.
Note: At the request of the Rachel Maddow Show, I am replacing the YouTube version with the video provided by MSNBC.
Please donate to the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Judy and this Foundation deserve our support in the face of such terrible ignorance and hate.
